MENTONE SPRINGS HOTEL RINGS IN THE NEW YEAR WITH DINNER, DANCING & ENTERTAINMENT
December 17, 2013 — If you’re looking for a unique destination to ring in the New Year, consider the historic Mentone Springs Hotel atop Lookout Mountain in Mentone, Ala. Revelers will enjoy a night of music, entertainment, dancing, dinner and a midnight buffet all for one price. Party packages range from $50 - $100 per person plus tax and gratuity. The pre fix 5-course dinner and evening of celebration beginning at 6:30 pm, is available by reservation only. Beginning at 8 pm, the iconic Ray Highsmith Band will kick off the countdown until midnight playing blues, rock n roll and popular dance music. The Divine Ms. R., often compared to Bette Midler, will open for the band with singing and a comedy routine.
A limited number of The Mentone Springs Hotel lodging packages are available on a first come first serve basis. The packages will include dinner, early check-in on Dec. 31, extended checkout time on New Year’s Day, NYE festivities, a midnight buffet and a full Southern breakfast on New Year’s Day. Other Mentone area B&B’s, cabins and hotels will also offer lodging.

Those individuals purchasing tickets for $100 per person are invited to continue to experience The Mentone Springs Hotel throughout the year. They will receive all of the premium package perks in addition to a membership to The 130th Society. Members of The 130th Society will enjoy invitations to special hotel events, discounts on lodging and in our restaurants and will be recognized as a supporter, contributing to the hotel’s ongoing restoration.
